Skye Celtic Music is basically the contemporary Celtic Music that is dedicated to making music to encourage the traditional communities of Celtics. We have professional band members who contribute to lead and harmony vocals, intricate finger picking on the guitar, melody, and descant lines on the soprano and alto recorders, and fiddle melodies and harmonies.
The challenge of our Celtic music provides an excellent showcase for our performer’s considerable vocal abilities and reveal their love for haunting melodies and expressive lyrics. Our performers Lexy’s and Julia’s stunning vocal harmonies are one of the hallmarks of Skye’s unique sound.
Our Band’s lead fiddler and group’s main spokesperson, Michael Bardossi. The thing that inspired our lead the most is the fiddle music. The many styles of fiddle music that appeal to him–swing, old-time American, Celtic and Eastern European–find their way into his original compositions, creating a sound that is at once both hauntingly familiar as well as unfamiliar.
We do have a professional photographer as well as musician, Michael Kevin Daly as a professional photographer as well as a fine musician has been cultivating his musical talents as a singer, instrumentalist, and songwriter since the early 1970s. Since discovering Irish music in the 80s, he has explored various forms of the mando/bouzouki instrument family and their hybridizations with the guitar.
Our CD (It’s About Time)
Skye released their first CD in 1999. The 53-minute-long recording, entitled “It’s About Time,” contains a fine sampling of the band’s vocal and instrumental repertory. It is currently available in only a few stores in Oregon, but it can also be ordered by sending your name and mailing information with a check (in U.S. funds) for $15.00 (plus $2.00 for postage) to:

Our Values and Belief
Preserving the Culture: We believe that preserving own culture and tradition is the most important thing to do for their families or ancestors. We always make sure to preserve our Celtic traditions, musics and even languages. We will continue and want to continue preserving the value and importance of culture and traditions. We strive to make our culture and tradition renowned to world and aware people about that.
Nature and our Band: We are known to have a very good connection to nature. We celebrate and mention the beauty of nature and the seasons that we have in a year. We are mesmerized by nature and also mention it in our music. Our music is known for its lively pattern, beautiful melodies and very engaging storytelling. Everything we make and perform from music to the stage performance of our band, reflects upon the Celtic music and its tradition and culture.
Proud Forefathers: We always wanted to preserve our culture and always want our forefathers to be really proud of us for our performance and music. We are all because of their inspiration. The music and performance that we do on the stage or that we release are all about our traditional culture that belongs to our Celtic music. We basically feature instruments that are related to our community to upgrade their instruments.
